Across Australia, aged care and retirement living communities are coming together this ANZAC Day to honour the stories, service and sacrifice of residents who carry its meaning.
In my 20s, I stood at Gallipoli and felt the stillness firsthand. Each ANZAC Day, I carry a perspective of listening, remembering, and honouring residents’ lived memories.
There are approximately 2,500 retirement villages across Australia. Home to close to 250,000 residents. In each village, and for each resident, ANZAC day will bring out the very best of what community living has to offer.
Thursday, 25 April, is the day Village Managers can truly connect with their residents as the country marks ANZAC Day.
