DCM Institute Village Networks are get togethers for locally based village and community managers
It is one of the most complex jobs imaginable – responsible for a hotel-style business with say 100 guests – that never leave and are growing increasingly frail… and you are left largely on your own.
With the Village Network events, we will keep you in touch with other Village & Community Managers. There are 2,000 across Australia. We hear time and time again that you feel like you would like more support both in informal comradery and informal training.
These events are a great way to reconnect with sector peers and break down the disconnected and disperse nature of village management.
There is no requirement for the Village & Community Managers to be of the same organisation as the host, or to be enrolled in the DCM Institute’s professional development program.
This is our way of adding another layer of support for ‘on the ground’ professionals across the sector.
