Last week at the Retirement Village Association of New Zealand’s Gala Dinner at the Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Te Ara Institute recognised some of their top tier learners.
The Te Ara Institute was formed in 2022 as a joint venture between the RVA and DCM Institute and adapts the Australian professional development program for New Zealand Village Managers and head office staff.
To be eligible for this recognition, program participants must have achieved 500 Professional Development Points. These points are awarded on completion of modules and attending professional development days. They accumulate over time, and become a record of learning on a transcript that participants can refer back during their career.
At the Gala Dinner, Te Ara welcomed the first group of Managers into their “500 Club”.
